Styling celebrities takes a special kind of person with just the right temperment. It's exciting and stressful all at once, and it's not for everyone. It requires more than just the ability to buy great clothes. Qualities of a good stylist include diplomacy, graciouness, and business acumen. Oh, and a degree in psychology is a plus. ENJOY!

Expanding the Exposure and Reach of Jenesse Center

Jenesse_silverrose005_2 On Monday, April 28, 2008 the 3-day Silver Rose Weekend event to benefit Jenesse Center for Domestic Violence ended with the Halle Berry Celebrity Golf Classic. For the past few months I've been blessed to work with a group of amazing women as a member of the VIP Reception Committee which kicked off the weekend of giving on Saturday, April 26, 2008. On Sunday, those of us who play golf were given an opportunity to do so.

Pictured here are Ed, Kim, Halle Berry, Jelana and Me.

Jenesse_silverrose004Jenesse_center_logo001I talked about doing something for awhile, when friends who worked with Jenesse invited me to help out with an event earlier in the year. Jenesse gives me an opportunity to give something back to my community. It was founded in 1980 by five African American women who were survivors of domestic violence. Jenesse's mission is to provide victims of domestic violence with a comprehensive with a comprehensive, centralized base of support to assist them in addressing their immediate crisis and changing the patterns of their lives. For more information on how to give, become part of and/or get involved with Jenesse visit Jenesse.org.
