Celebrity Hair Stylist Rico Jackson Styles R&B Singer Kelly Price for the ASCAP Awards

Rico, Rico, Rico how do you work it out so well? You're already a favorite of actress Tasha Smith, and  now you're  hitting it off with R&B singer Kelly Price? AMAZING!

Crystal Agency's hair guru Rico Jackson recently styled Kelly's hair for The American Society of Composers, Authors and Publishers Awards! Rico said, "I chose curls, because they could cross over from day to night. Kelly had to fly out right after the event and needed a more casual look. The curls also went really well with the beautiful, maxi halter dress she was wearing".

Not only did Rico make Kelly's hair look fabulous, but they got along great! He worked with her from 9:00 am-6:00 pm and had nothing but kind words when describing Price. "She was such a kind and genuine person. She's moving to L.A. soon and we plan to keep in touch!". Rico you're not only a talented hair stylist, but everyone that you work with seems to love you as a person!

Crystal Agency Welcomes New Makeup Artist and Hair Stylist Norma Blaque

Crystal Agency now presents to you makeup artist and hair stylist Norma Blaque, who just joined our assistants list at the agency. It is a pleasure to have Norma because she is extremely ambitious and quite the multi-tasker. Norma is now a part of the agency, while working at two well known hair salons, and still has time for some  freelance photography. Wow, how do you even keep up?!

Norma found Crystal after working on The Dream Girls Catalogue, when fate took its course and she found herself working with a fellow Crystal Agency team member. One thing led to another, Norma contacted Crystal, and the rest is history.

Since hooking up with the Crystal Agency, Norma has worked on a Neiman Marcus fashion show featuring Stella McCartney's designs and the Marina Rinaldi runway extravaganza.

Norma said, "Signing with a makeup and hair agency has been a goal I've been chasing for about ten years now. What was originally a three year goal some how turned into ten years". Well you did it Norma! Keep on pushing forward!

Makeup Artist Uzmee Krakovszki Rocks the Marina Rinaldi Trunk Show in Beverly Hills

Marina Rinaldi, is an upscale boutique for full figured women. And it gets even better; the infamous Italian magazine AMICA covered the show.

The Crystal Agency Team worked it out in the hair and makeup department. Makeup Artist Uzmee Krakovszki did a fabulous job with the girls! And there is a new addition to the team, Norma Blaque who just joined the assistant’s list at the agency. Welcome to the family Norma! You guy’s will get more dish on Norma later.

Who did Tasha Smith's hair? Who does Tasha Smith's hair? Who styles Tasha Smith's hair? These are the questions I get everyday through phone calls, and emails.

Just today a woman in New York emailed me and said, “I'm not a celebrity but I can afford to have my hair done by a celebrity stylist. I am willing to pay what ever it costs to get my hair done by her stylist. Please tell me how I can make an appointment. I have been to every salon in the metropolitan NY area and I cannot find what I am looking for. Money is not a problem but my hair is. I have resorted to wearing a ponytail most of the time because my hair is just not what I want it to be. My hair is shoulder length and I am of mixed heritage so my hair is wavy and thick. My colorist just can't get it right and my hair cut is passable. Please put me in touch with somebody who can make my hair look like Tasha's. I have a plethora of girlfriends who are looking for the same thing.”

PrivacyWear Clothing Company Sticks With Crystal Agency to Produce New Images for Their Website

After doing a smashing job on the Spring and Summer 08 Ad campaigns and lookbook, PrivacyWear Clothing Company CEO Carolyn Jones reached out to LA based styling agency; Crystal Agency to produce new images for their website.

As the producer on this one, Crystal reached out to creative veterans Craig Brooks of KontentPartners.com in Seattle to Art Direct, and photographer Michael Leland to produce high-quality images for the PrivacyWear website.

The Crystal Agency Makeup, Hair and Styling team consisted of Makeup by Uzmee Krakovski, Hair by Darico Jackson, and Styling by Amber Corwin. Throughout the 10 day job, Amber was assisted by Inga Rochelle Grimmett, Darcy Herr, and Hollie Williamson.

PrivacyWear CEO Carolyn Jones Taps Crystal Agency Styling Talent to Create Award Winning Windows for their Magic Booth in Las Vegas

After 2 weeks of intense work on the Spring and Summer 2008 PrivacyWear Clothing print campaigns, Melinda Tarbell and her top-notch team of styling assistants (Janellica Ohanian, Inga Rochelle, and Tiffani Rae) began prepping for the 2007 Magic Show which they executed less than a week later.
    This assignment included designing, and dressing the massive trade show booth, as well as organizing and MC'ing the in-booth fashion show. Hard work? Yes. Would they do it again? You better believe it.
    36 hours passed before the team called it quits to get some much deserved sleep.
    And while Melinda took off for a much needed vacation after the Magic show, Inga and Janellica took over and redressed the booth at the ASR show in San Diego. Melinda stayed involved by telephone as the team beamed her the pictures of the booth from their camera phones.
